Plextor PX-128M1S - 128 Go
BCC Hardware"That being said, I still believe that there are better choices if you are all about blistering fast SSDs."

CDRLabs"Looking at these results, its pretty clear that the PX-128M1S is far from speedy. I still have yet to hear from Plextor whether or not it supports TRIM, but I've been running benchmarks for a few hours with no performance degredation."

PC Perspective"These new drives from Plextor offer decent performance at a good price. While we would have liked to see the top-tier optical media company come out swinging with a newer generation controller, not everyone has such resources at their disposal. This Marvell controller is unproven, but it did its job well and maintained rock solid read speeds regardless of workload. This tech may be considerably cheaper, but it is easily bested by the competition. "

PC Stats"When compared to a pair of fast drives like the Western Digital WD1001FALS in RAID 0 mode, the Plextor PX-128M1S SSD can't quite attain the same sequential read and write speeds, but it does manage better random small file I/O performance. Thanks to its built-in wear-leveling and S.M.A.R.T. diagnostic tools, the PX-128M1S should last you quite some time. Plextor backs the whole thing up with a 3-year warranty. "

Storage Review"The Plextor PX-128M1S offers mid-range performance for a mid-range price, which isn't bad for a first generation SSD. We're encouraged by Plextor's effort and look forward to their next effort."

We got served"I cannot lie. This is the first SSD that I have had the opportunity to take around the block. Is the Plextor PX-128M1S the “best” SSD on the market? Taking a look at some the specifications of competing SSD’s on the market, it would appear that the read and write times of the Plextor is middle of the road. So, it certainly cannot be considered the fastest."
